Why is running so addictive?


The answer is easy -Endorphins.
Endorphins are chemicals your body releases when it starts to work hard and endure stress and fatigue. They are chemicals that make you feel happy and bring that warm tingly feeling to your legs when you get warmed up. This chemical and the feeling that it causes can actually cause something close to a physical addiction and one way to get a fix of endorphins is to run.
